Lesko, Debbie (b. 1958)

Republican Debbie Lesko of Arizona entered the U.S. House of Representatives on April 24, 2018. She won a special election to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of the incumbent.

She co-chairs the Congressional Caucus for Women’s Issues.

Lesko served in the Arizona State House of Representatives from 2008 to 2014 and the Arizona State Senate from 2015 to 2018.

Born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Representative Lesko graduated from the University of Wisconsin.
